Due to recent ditch digging and erosion on Nanticoke Road, and the lack of a suitable option to re-route the course, we have decided to cancel the half marathon and issue refunds to all participants. We will move the 5K to Dorchester Park in Whitney Point. All half marathon entrants can run the 5K at no charge. Please contact [email protected] if you would like to do this. If you are registered for the Empire Road Race Series, the 5K will count toward your race credits for series swag. If you're going to run in the 5K, packet pickup will be 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14 at Confluence Running, 46 S. Washington St., Binghamton, or 6 to 6:45 a.m., on race day at Dorchester Park. We sincerely apologize for the late change, and we are very disappointed to not be able to offer our traditional country run in Maine.
