Short review

The Pinebelt Pacers are turning 20 years old and how are we are going to celebrate with a Party combined with Fundraising for The ARC of Southeast Mississippi (https://hattiesburgarc.com/Hattiesburg_Arc/Welcome.html) and...a little 20K race.

The race will start at Clyde Station on The Longleaf Trace and end at The Thirsty Hippo in Downtown Hattiesburg, MS. For all race participants, a catered meal will await you at The Thirsty Hippo.   This is a point to point race, downhill the whole way to the finish.  Transportation will be provided (before race only) form The Thirsty Hippo to Clyde Station. The last bus will leave no later than 1:15 pm. The race will start promptly at 2:00 pm. A time limit of 210 minutes (16 min/50 sec pace per mile) will be enforced. An option to run the 20K as a relay team is available. Please be advised that relay team will have to provide their own transportation. Exchange point for the relay will be Jackson Road.

For twenty years, Members of the Pinebelt Pacers have been "Running The Pinebelt" and  "Running for our Lives" all while fundraising for many different charities. This event (race) is a celebration of all the good done by this organization. Please join us by running, volunteering or donating to the cause. Pinebelt Pacer Members will receive a $20.00 discount off the registration price. If you are not a member you can join today and receive the discount.

The Club would like to thank The Thirsty Hippo for opening on this Sunday (they are normally closed) and making their space available to us (https://www.facebook.com/thirstyhippo/). Please, show your appreciation to Sarah and Brad, and spent a little money at this establishment.

One last, but certainly not least, detail, Jim Coll is running 50 miles starting and ending at The Thirsty Hippo on this date as he is also raising money for The ARC of Southeast Mississippi. Jim is a lifetime member of The Pinebelt Pacers and former President too. His Goal is $2500 and The Pinebelt Pacers will at least match his fundraising. Jim is excepting to finish by 5:30 pm, (if he passes you on the 20K, consider donating here or at his site (https://www.facebook.com/events/368233297257908/) Just kidding, but still please donate
