Registration Deadlines

Early Registration: October 1st - October 13th  Price: $15Includes: Race day T-shirt, Swag bag of goodies, entry into the race day drawing and eligibility for male and female runners prizes.  Registration : October 14th - October 23rd  Price: $20 Includes: Race day T-shirt, Swag bag of goodies, entry into the race day drawing and eligibility for male and female runners prizes.  Late Registration: October 24th - November 15th  Price: $10Includes: Entry into the race day drawing and eligibility for male and female runners prizes. 

Get off the couch and hit the ground running (or walking) before the holidays sneak up on us and register for a race you can run in air conditioning or under the stars! This Virtual Risher 5K Fun Run may be completed anywhere, anytime between Wednesday, November 11th and Sunday, November 15th. Strolls with the family dog, pavement runs with the stroller, and treadmill jogs while watching TV are all acceptable! For just $10, you can contribute to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and be entered into our race day drawing for prizes. Forget about the race day jitters, it's all about you! 

Need help creating a 5k route? Participants can either run a designated 5K course at a Risher managed facility or create their own path and run anywhere! This is a virtual event and is open to all participants.

For just $20 participants will receive a commemorative Risher 5K T-shirt or tank top, digital-bib, swag bag full of goodies, entry for raffle prizes, and will benefit Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation. 

Race packets will be available for pick up November 11-13th at Risher facilities in the following locations. Your race packet pick up will be assigned to the location closest to your home address.

The Risher 5K will benefit Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation.  Risher is a proud supporter of Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and want to support our state's natural resources.  We believe the outdoors provide a great opportunity to improve a person's overall health and wellbeing.  During the pandemic, Texas parks and the outdoors have been a safe place for many to visit and are now seeing higher than usual traffic.  We want to give back to Texas Parks and Wildlife by providing resources to accommodate the additional visitors who have found a new love in the great outdoors. 

Risher is a privately owned company established in 1994 by Randy S. Risher.  Risher is a full-service health and fitness firm that provides management and staffing for master-planned communities, corporate users, developers, building owners, and multi-family properties.  Risher currently manages facilities in Houston as well as properties in Arizona.
