2022 LOST 118 ( Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail )
The 16th Annual Running of this Iconic Event ( And It's ONLY One Loop! )
Saturday February 19th, 2022 to Sunday February 20th, 2022 ( a FULL Moon Weekend )
The course is run around the lake and is mostly on the dike which is a mixture of dual track, macadam, and crushed stone surfaces. A various amount of miles are on road to avoid the current construction sites ( # miles varies each year ). There are 22 access points to the dike for crew to meet you. The race is always run as close to a full moon weekend as possible and, if it is a clear night, you will not need a light up on the dike for much of it. Very scenic, both day and night, with a constant breeze to enjoy.
For 2022 the 118 race will start in the Clewiston - South Bay area, see the link to the Start /Finish maps below. As there is always new construction popping up, the final start location won't be determined until race week, but it will still be in the Clewiston area.
The 50 mile race will start in Clewiston and head East towards South Bay, finishing somewhere before Okeechobee, depending where we start!, see the map below!
New this year is a 50 Mile 2-3 person relay!
Individual runners MUST have a crew, there are no aid stations on the course, drop bags aren't an option, no unsupported uncrewed individual runners! This applies to both the 118 & 50 mile events.
A 118 Relay Team is a min of 2 people and a maximum of 4. The $118 fee is for a relay team of 2 people, any additional members added will pay $59.00 each!
A 50 Relay Team is a min of 2 people and a maximum of 3. The fee is $50 per person.
To add a team member have them register and select the " Join a Team" option, select your team and finish the registration process and pay the $59.00 or $50.00 fee at the end! If you need to change a team member you can transfer a registration to another person and they are responsible for the money aspect! Email: LOST118Ultra@gmail.com to transfer!
You must be registered by January 30th 2022 to be guaranteed your shirt size and swag! After that we will try to guess your shirt size, but we're not really good at guessing.
Additional shirts ( for your crew ) may be ordered in the store, or they can order one when they register, and will be in your swag bag at packet pick-up!
New this year, CREW must register, there is no fee to register as a crew person. Every CREW member on your team need to register. Parents can register for their kids. This helps us have contact info for crews in case something changes race day and we need to disseminate information out to crews and runners.
