COVID-19 Update: The Happy Birthday America 5k / 10k has been changed to a virtual run in response to COVID-19. The safety of our staff, volunteers and runners is our number one priority. Although this is not the decision we wanted to make, we do feel it is the best thing to do at this point as we follow the trend of the race industry to help keep everyone safe and stop the spread of COVID 19. All athletes registered for the 5k or 10k are automatically transferred into the virtual race. All runners will receive their medal, shirt and bib in the mail the week of the event. Thank you for your support during these tough times. Especially for small race compaines as we and others try to stay afloat to ensure locally operated events are here for years to come!

Please remember to support all your local running companies via virtual events and running specialty stores! It's a good thing to be outside and stay active - just keep your 6ft ;).

Start a new family tradition!  Before the cookouts, parades, and fireworks, enjoy a fun race the weekend before the 4th of July.  The Happy Birthday America 5k & 10k is a birthday celebration for America!  The 5k & 10k run/walk will have patriotic music, and more red, white, and blue than you can imagine!  The course starts and finishes in Estabrook Park.  It cruises downhill along Estabrook Parkway before turning north on the paved Oak Leaf Trail.  The 10k course completes the 5k loop, then continues along the Oak Leaf Trail, and will complete a 2nd loop. This is a fast and fun course you’re going to love!  After the race, everyone gets an America's Birthday cupcake!

Have a little kiddo that wants to race too?  We’ll have a free Kids 1k Fun Run at 8:45am.  Kiddos will receive a Stampede Kids race bib and finisher medal. (recommended for kids age 3-10 years old)
