Proceeds from registration will directly support the nonprofit, Fit, Black, and Educated, Inc. (FBE) to create programming/events focused on fitness, health and wellness, financial literacy, civic engagement, and Black history for military and civilian families in the San Diego community. DATES AND TIMES: The deadline to register is May 19, 2021. You can complete the 5k anytime between February 1, 2021 and May 15, 2021.
LOCATION: Run/walk the 3.1 miles on your own or with your family/friends, on a course of your choosing or treadmill. Please observe social distancing guidelines. Feel free to use your favorite distance tracking app or watch.
TRACKING YOUR 5k: Participants may track their distance using any Global Positioning System (GPS) fitness device (FitBit, Garmin Vivoactive, Apple Watch, etc.) or phone app (Strava, Map My Run, etc.).
RESULTS: Submit your results to the leader board, print off your finisher certificate and share your accomplishment using #BLKLUV5K
SHIPPING: We are doing batch shipping. Shipping will begin February 5, 2021. Please allow at least 2 weeks for delivery. Shipping is free for all USA orders. We are currently not accepting international participants due to high shipping costs and wait times.
