Short review
This is an easy/intermediate 5K (3.1 miles) that will start and end on 100 Flat Street in Brattleboro, Vermont. Runners will run/walk west up Williams Street which is a gradual incline, and then connect along Western Avenue. The route will then proceed to the east towards downtown Brattleboro, onto Main Street. The route will then turn onto Elliott Street for a very short distance and then down Elm Street, connecting to 100 Flat Street.
The Run for Recovery 5K committee is committed to having a safe & fun event this year. We will be implementing safety measures to ensure that we follow state guidelines and mandates for outside events. Please visit the Turning Point of Windham County's Facebook page for COVID safety measures that we'll be implementing during race day. Participants will also be sent these guidelines by email three days before the race.
If you live in or will be coming from an area with higher COVID numbers, we ask that if you are required to self-quarantine, that you follow Vermont's guidelines before joining the race, or join us next year for the event.
