Human trafficking is a travesty and a severe injustice. Approximately 24.9 million people are trapped in slavery today, according to the International Labor Organization. Our local community is not immune, and we want to make a difference, providing funds to local and national organizations (Run Against Traffic, HER, etc.) that fight against trafficking and provide aftercare for victims of trafficking. We also just want to raise awareness of this terrible issue. We cannot stay silent anymore.
