Please Note: Due to COVID-19 the Wesbury 5K Chicken Run/Walk Event will be a virtual race.

We have extended pre-registration until August 16th.  Pre-registration is $20.00. Sign-ups after August 16th is $25.00.  T-shirt included with Pre-Registration.  We will be ordering extra shirts but cannot guarantee availability of correct sizes with Registrations after the 16th.

Virtual Race Information

Sign-ups will continue until Noon on the 22nd of August. 

The Virtual Race can be completed by participants from August 22nd through the 29th.  Shirts and medal certificates will be mailed the 1st week of September.*

*Please Note: If you are a Wesbury Resident your shirt and medal certificate will be delivered to you and if you are an Employee you will be able to pick up your shirt and medal certificate at the Switchboard.

You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or from any location you choose. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, time it yourself and still support a great cause! If you have already sent in your time and you broke your time from before send the updated time and you get credit for the faster time.  Times will be recorded in order like a normal race would be from fastest runner/walker to slowest. Times will be up to you on how you want to record them, gps watch, running app, etc.

During August 22nd through the 29th submit your time to the race’s virtual location:

Don’t forget there is a winner for best dressed costume! After running or walking your event; we encourage you to take a picture or video and post it to our Wesbury Facebook Page, send pictures to Wesbury through Facebook Messenger or email them to mcornwell@wesbury.com.  We’d love to see your pictures and videos!

August 31st we will announce the winners on Facebook.
