Wegmans Turkey Trot 10K (Virtual 2020 Edition) 2020

Short review

This year, Richmond Road Runners Club and the race's sponsor Wegmans are hosting a virtual Turkey Trot 10K and Kids Run on Thanksgiving weekend 2020.

Because of COVID-19, the University of Richmond campus is closed for use by outside groups. Limitations on event sizes would have made any in-person race much smaller this year. The result would have been a hollow shell of the 42-year tradition that is Richmond's Turkey Trot 10K. 

We hope you'll continue your family and personal tradition of running a 10K on Thanksgiving morning, but it will have to be on a DIY course. And you can schedule it any time during the holiday weekend. 

Part of your registration fee will help support RRRC during this unusual year for running and racing. We also want you to help us help FeedMore, Central Virginia's core hunger-relief organization. Please make a donation during registration. Our initial goal was $500 in donations so we can earn a full $500 matching donation from Wegmans. Our runners have blasted through that goal!
