Walk, Run & Roll Community Festival March 26, 2022 at 7:00 am Cate Square Park, 279 N. Oak St. Hammond, LA 10K, 5K & 1 Mile Fun Run Community Festival, is to bring the community together to celebrate our children and adults with disabilities, special abilities, and special needs. It is a day where friends, families, businesses, and other community members can come together to learn, teach, discuss, play, and enjoy a day of activities and exercise that will bring awareness of our extraordinary family members that thrive off of the involvement of their community and surroundings. It is a day to celebrate as a family and as a community. Event Details: Fhfnorthshore.org 6:00 am - 6:45 am Race day registration and packet pickup 7:00-9:00 - 10K & 5K timed event 9:00 - 1 Mile Kids Fun run/roll 9:15 - 5K Awards, Fun & Games for kids sponsored by Southeastern Louisiana University—Lions Connection and Student Council for Exceptional Children, Food & Drink Tents, DJ music.
*Strollers & running/racing chairs are allowed, but please keep in mind that part of the course is on the sidewalks around Southeastern Louisiana University, and please be mindful of surroundings and other participants.
*Dogs and support animals are allowed, however must be leashed and please bring your personal "pooper scoopers" & plastic bags to dispose of waste while at the park and along the course.
