Short review
Run like a MOM - full of love, strength, courage, and determination and help new moms in the process.
REGISTRATION is now CLOSED. We had to close it a few hours early due to the great response we've had. Thank you so much. This is going to be the largest group of participants we've ever had. While we can no longer accept registrations, we are still taking donations because we are still trying to reach our goal of $30,000.
This event (previously known as the Women's Hope 5k and the Walk 4 Life) will help support Women's Hope Medical Clinic and Hope Adoptions. Women's Hope is a local non-profit ministry that helps young families by offering FREE pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, prenatal clinic visits, childbirth classes, and parenting classes. Hope Adoptions is our new adoption agency that offers free adoption plan services to birth moms and lower cost adoption services to adoptive parents. Please invite your friends to join you and help us reach our goal of $30,000 by donating as well!
You will have the options of participating in the 5k race and 1-Mile walk in person @ Town Creek Park or participating in them virtually from wherever and whenever you choose. Only in person participants will be available for race medals and door prizes. The top two male and female winners in the following age categories will receive medals: 10-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+.
Changes: Packet pick-up will now be Friday, March 19 at The Family Life Center (820 Stage Rd, Auburn) from 2-7 pm. (There will not be any in person registration or packet pick-up the day of the event.) The 5k race will now have a wave start (smaller groups at different times) instead of a shot-gun start (everyone together). Because of this change, no race medals will be awarded at the event. Winners will be notified later and given their medals then. These changes are being made by us trying our best to follow the recommendations of Auburn Parks & Rec and the Auburn Police department. More changes may occur.
If you are participating in person, please consider creating a team and then asking others to join your team. Once the first 5 people join your team, everyone after that on your team will receive a discount when registering ($23 for the 5k and $11 for the 1-M Walk). There will also be two team prizes for the teams with the most participants registered.
Children under 10 can participate FREE in the 1-Mile Walk @ Town Creek or in the virtual events, but no need to register them. If you are part of Lakeview's Children's ministry, you can submit your info here to be part of Pastor Al's Challenge.
