What is the Jr. Banking Program?
Our TVFCU Jr. Banking Program is in four high schools and three elementary schools in Genesee County: Alexander, Batavia, Byron-Bergen, Oakfield-Alabama, and Notre Dame. The program benefits students by teaching them customer service skills, cash handling, calculating, and balancing. The Jr. Banking program also helps students improve math skills, along with practicing professionalism in the work place. Students at Alexander, Batavia, Notre Dame and Byron-Bergen are able to participate in the program while they are seniors in high school, this gives them an opportunity to apply for a scholarship. TVFCU plans to present a scholarship(s) to a graduate(s), in 2019 and beyond.
