Come one come all! Walk or run in support of healthy families in recovery!
Coweta County Accountability Courts is holding its fourth annual fundraiser! “Turkey Trot 5K & fun Run for Healthy Families in Recovery” will take place in Newnan on November 23rd at the Coweta Fairgrounds. It begins at 8:00AM for the 5K, 9:00AM for the family fun run. This is a county-wide event with participation from local schools, business owners, churches, and residents, all supporting a drug free community.
The program participants of the Accountability Court programs are valuable community members who are trying to better their lives. The Accountability Court programs seek to help their participants gain stable and successful lives by maintaining sobriety, receiving therapeutic, educational, and vocational opportunities, as well as providing many crucial resources. These resources are partially funded by donations from generous community members like you!
We are asking local businesses to participate through donations to help our fundraiser become a huge success. Monetary donations or donations of water and healthy snacks for the participants would be greatly appreciated. We also need raffle items, such as gift cards, goods or products for a raffle to be held on the same day.
As a token of our appreciation, when you donate $100 in cash or supplies, you will receive the name of your company on the race shirt as well as a free entry which includes a t-shirt.
