A 5K Downtown to Turn Cancer Upside DownTM

This event is a run/walk to raise funds for the Scott CARES Foundation and Dayton Clinical Oncology Program. Through the Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ program, the skating community is hosting this run/walk in addition to an on-ice Frozen 5k.All registration and fundraising is through the Sk8 to Elimin8 Cancer™ webpage. Following the race, all 5K run/walk participants and their families are invited to Hobart Arena for a FREE family fun skate. Skate Rental for this event is only $1.00. Troy Skating Club will also be hosting a FREE health fair at Hobart Arena.
Race Location: Gazebo on the Levee, Troy, Ohio
Parking: Available at Hobart Arena, 255 Adams Street, Troy
Course Description: Starting at the gazebo on the levee,
the course will be out and back using the bike trail
Awards: Top three participants in each age group: 5-7, 8-10,
11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

10:15-11:45 am FREE Family Fun Skate at Hobart

Entry: Cost is $20 with a shirt
Preregistration Deadline: Saturday,
September 7, to ensure a shirt is mailed to you
prior to race day
Registration September 8 through Race Day:
$20 with a shirt, but the shirt is not guaranteed
to arrive before race day
