Run in one of America’s top resort communities. Hidden away among an intricate maze of rivers, islands and maritime forests, the Palmetto Half Marathon & 10K courses are flat, fast and chip timed. As the largest waterfront property on the East coast, Palmetto Bluff is evolving as a residential community and conservation preserve, with over 20,000 acres that remain virtually undisturbed.
The Half Marathon course and the 10K course is stroller and dog friendly. Race shirts are guaranteed to the first 600 registrants and beautiful medals are awarded to all half marathon and 10K finishers. Aid stations, Water, Gatorade and Gels at every 2 miles
Race proceeds will benefit the Palmetto Bluff Conservancy, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation of the natural, historical and cultural resources of the Bluff. With regular educational programs and year-long research projects on the abounding wildlife and rich history of the Bluff, the Conservancy ensures the spectacular ecology and diverse environments of the community will be enjoyed by many for years to come.
Celebrate your finish at the After Party with live music, a free beer from River Dog Brewing Co., and a free barbeque sandwich from the Palmetto Bluff food truck, and don't forget the incredible awards: All 10K and Half runners will receive a beautiful finishers medal. The 1st place Half Marathon winner for male and female will receive a $200 gift certificate at Montage Palmetto Bluff and the 1st place 10K winner for male and female will receive $100 Palmetto Bluff gift certificate. Awards will also be given to the first place winners in each age division: 12-under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
Packet Pick-Up and Late Registration is on Saturday, March 12, 2022, from 1-6PM at Palmetto Running Company, 30 Plantation Park Dr. Bluffton, SC. We strongly recommend going on Saturday. Late packet pick-up is available on the morning of the race from 7:00AM - 7:45AM. We cannot guarantee shirt sizes, and NO race-day registration is available. The race starts at 8:00AM in Wilson Village with the after party on the Village Green. Complimentary parking is available and trolleys will transport you from the parking area to the Village. A limited amount of VIP village parking passes are available for $20. Purchase tickets on this site at checkout. For more information contact the Palmetto Running Company 843-815-1718 option 3.
