The 40th Annual Little Compton Road Race 2023

Short review

A SCENIC 4.8 MILE RURAL COURSE
Start time is at 9:00 a.m.. The course is flat and fast. However this year the event will be a non-competitive run and may not be scored due to COVID restrictions. This is being done in order to maintain social distancing and avoid post-race gathering. Entrants will be required to sign a COVID waiver when registering. We will provide a finish-line clock and split times along the course, as well as three water stations. A police escort will be provided by LC’s finest, and medical assistance by LC Rescue. The event is officially sanctioned by USATF.  Please be reminded that according to USATF rules, strollers, baby joggers, dogs are not allowed in the race.

We have added a virtual 4.8 miler so you can run virtually anywhere at anytime.

This year's event will be non-competitive and may not be scored (see above for details)

PRIZES & CATEGORIES
This year, we are again providing each registrant with our sought-after tee-shirt. We will not be offering prizes, given that the race may not be scored.
We are not having the kids' races this year due to COVID concerns.

All proceeds from this race benefit the local and global ministries of the United Congregational Church of Little Compton.

POST RACE EVENTS
Join us after the race for a summer tradition, the UCC of Little Compton Summer Fair. This year's fair Includes craft booths, food vendors, live music, Silent Auction, a lobster luncheon and many other attractions. Please note that masking and social distancing may or may not be required due to COVID restrictions on August 7th. Regardless, please come for the race and stay for the day!
