Come Join Valcour Brewing Company, friends, and family for the fourth annual Terry Schmaltz Memorial 5K Fun Run and Kids Run!

Terry Schmaltz joined the United States Army in 1965. He served his country for 40 years, retiring in 2008 with the rank of Colonel. While Terry was in the Army, he served in the Special Forces and saw action in Bosnia, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom. He married Mary Theresa Pearl in Virginia on February 29, 2012. They moved to Plattsburgh in 2014 and began a new adventure with their purchase of the “Old Stone Barracks”, on the former Plattsburgh Air Force base. Over the past couple years, they have worked to restore the Barracks and transform it into the Valcour Brewing Company, something Terry took great pride in.

The Run will take place around the Old Army Base (currently known as the "Oval") and on the grounds of the Old Stone Barracks Building.
