SVR Winter Series 2021

Short review

Greetings SVR runners! While we all can’t wait to get back out to live races, we have to be cautious, especially with our amazing increase of runners over the past few years.  Therefore, we have made the tough decision to go virtual with the 2020-2021 Winter Series.  Believe us, we tried really hard to make a smaller 4 race series possible, but with the latest restrictions we are unable to secure venues to make an in-person series happen. 

So what does a virtual Winter Series look like?  We are still going to run around some of our favorite race courses, but you will be able to run on your own schedule from Monday through Sunday. We encourage you to log your times in RunSignup and post your pictures on social media so we can share all the fun. Use #SVRuns when posting your photos. 

For $15, you’ll be registered in all 4 virtual events and will receive a set of SVR branded gloves (one size fits all) to keep your hands warm during all your winter running. Gloves are available to the first 275 who register for the entire series. Volunteers will be at the location of event #1 on Jan 23rd and 24th from 9-11am to cheer runners and distribute swag. Alternatively, during the registration process you can elect to have your swag shipped directly to you.  

The fee is $15 ($20 for non SVR members) if you run the entire series or just one race. Best to choose the first option and register for the entire series.
