Join the staff of the Extra Mile and 3rd degree Black Belt, Michelle Eades Zurisk, as we share with you some basic self defense moves that could help keep you safe while out moving this spring and summer. In addition to her Black Belt, Michelle has studied Martial Arts for 15 years and owned Zurisk Karate Academy for 10 years.
Michelle will stick around for a Q & A after her presentation.
We will be moving 3 miles on the city streets of Valparaiso after Michelle's presentation. All participants are required to wear reflective clothing and/or lights. Any participant under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
All participants must register for the event.
