The SOMETHING FOR EVERY BODY & EVERYBODY races! This year’s event will again support our armed forces and anything in a uniform. THIS YEAR'S EVENT will be an in- Person RACE with a rolling start...meaning, you can line up in mass or hold back and go out staggered (Family groups, running groups, or solo persons going out on the course every 5 seconds) adjusting to the safety needs of moment.   Chip timed by Itz About Time.  Your time starts when you go under the Start arch. Your course times will be tabulated for overall Top Three Places and in 5 year age spans for AGE DIVISION AWARDS.

Kick off for A  FIT FALL. We are combining the traditional Halloween/Harvest theme (so if that’s your gig, costume it up, join in games, costume contests, and super fun selfies and awards. But, ALSO, we are adding an ARMY/BOOT Camp flair and SUPPORTING ANYTHING IN A UNIFORM. A corner of the race expo/encampment will be a BOOT CAMP.  If need arises this will be Set up with SOCIAL DISTANCING PRACTICES.  A chance to play army at boot camp skill stations before or after the run.  A chance to get army face painted. And an additional awards added for not only best Halloween costumes, but best themed in a uniform! 

 If you are a fast and competitive type, fitness it up. If you are looking for a relaxed and goofy outlet that lets you costume up, this is the race for you!! 

EVERY ONE will receive a brilliant custom FINISHER MEDAL that reverses and an custom themed event shirt.  PLUS plenty of age division awards!

 

THIS race is part of the WINTER SERIES MEDALS. Do any three of the Caren Ware Events in the FALL/WINTER and get a 4th medal...FREE!  DO this race, and of the two Thanksgiving Days races, Santa Claus with a Cause, or Run in the New Year and get a 4th medal. WHY?!  Because we LOVE FITTING all together! 

Awards to top best Halloween costumes. Awards to best themed in a uniform. . Top three Team trophies to fastest teams.  Age division awards.

****Flat, fast paved course with views of the campus and Manassero Farms.  It's harvest time.  Pumpkin patch on campus.  (Opps. Was.  They just harvested all the pumpkins!  But there are some in the farm store. .  We will be setting up carnival games for kids to play with respect to social distancing if needed. 

**Halloween themed   Great Pumpkin Game Carnival. Trick or treat bags at packet pick up.

**A real BOOT CAMP encampment with boot camp drills and a chance to ‘play army’ and support our armed service programs.

EARLY PACKET PICK UP and  RACE MORNING PICK UP.  BOTH AT IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE. SOUTHWEST lot by Manassero Farms.  Entrance on Jeffrey.

Google IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE:  5500 Irvine Center Dr, Irvine 92618 for event locations  BUT ENTER IN on JEFFREY.  IT is the only campus entrance open.

Entrance opening on the campus is on Jeffrey.  Lot 5 nest to Manassero Farmer Market . Pull in by the two story Performing Arts building. Only 2 story on campus.

Early Packet Pick Up:

 WALK UP REGISTRATION OFFERED and BIB AND SHIRT PICK UP  AS EARLY PACKET PICK UP on FRIDAY, October 29 from 3pm to 5pm.  PRE FRIDAY PACKET PICK UP NOW AT MANASERRO FARM STORE right on the campus of IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE.  Turn in off of Jeffrey between Barranca and Irvine Center Drive.  Park in Lot 5. or in the Farm parking lot. 

 Or you can pick up on race morning from 6:30 am to 8:15 am. Exact Shirt sizes not guaranteed for walk-up registration. You ARE allowed to pick up for someone else.  No confirmation required.   LOOK for the Caren Ware Events FLUORESCENT PINK, WHITE, AND BLACK VAN at the race site.

So, two choices.  Wait until race morning, or go to Manaserro Farms on the campus of IRVINE VALLEY COLLEGE on Friday from 3 to 5pm and pick up shirt and bib. 

Parking:

Cost is $5.  Entrance is only allowed on Jeffrey (Entrance closed on Irvine Center Drive- its part of course).  All other campus entrances will be closed.  Pre purchase a parking ticket and place on dash.  Issued at registration.  Or buy race day at the Parking Booth .The campus police check vehicles for parking passes and charge us per space parked.
