Short review
Due to the health and safety of our participants our 15th Annual Breast Cancer Virtual Fitness Awareness Walk PLUS+ at the Indian Head Village Green, MD is going virtual between October 17-24th.
What is a Virtual Walk...PLUS+ event?
It's a walk or it can be ANYTHING you want it to be. For example: running, jogging, dancing, skating, biking, paddle boarding, or kayaking, from ANYWHERE you choose and completed at ANY TIME. SHOW US YOUR PINK by PINKING OUT your Virtual Walk PLUS+ in your neighborhood, on the trail, at the park, or at your office or wherever you are doing your event. Wear your best pink outfit!
Take a picture then upload it to our webpage as well as post it on "YOUR" social media and on our Facebook @ #Sisters at Heart Breast Cancer Support Group of Southern Maryland to share and celebrate with other participants how you completed the event.
Due to the global pandemic, this year's walk is more important than year's past. Men and women who are affected with breast cancer have a double burden due to the coronavirus. Sisters at Heart has partnered with the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center Foundation to raise funds for breast cancer awareness and support services. Don't miss out on this virtual event benefiting the Fight Against Breast Cancer and Spreading Awareness!
