The Hammond Rotary Shamrock Run will offer runners an opportunity to run the 1-mile, 5K/10K a new course for 2021 at the Renaissance Festival grounds in Hammond, Louisiana. The 5K/10K will take you on a trail through woods and then around the small lake and through the Renaissance Village. Please register by Wednesday, February 22nd to guarantee your T-shirt size. We always order extra T's for late registration, but we never know how many runners will register.
Start time for 1-Mile Fun Run is 8:00AM. 5K and 10K start time is 8:30AM. Walkers are welcome to participate in the 1 mile and 5K events! Due to time constraints, walkers are not allowed in the 10K.
We will have finisher medals for all 5K and 10K runners! We also have awards for the top 3 overall male & female runners in the 5K and 10K, as well as, 1st place male/female in the 1 mile run.
We will also have special awards for the Best Costume and the Biggest Team, as well as, our unique "Beat the Leprechaun" challenge in the 10K. Beat our leprechaun in the 10K run and pick from the "Pot Of Gold" prizes donated by many of our sponsors!
For a little more excitement, we have added a prize for the Biggest Fundraising Team! Click DONATE, then “Become a Fundraiser” to register your team.
Package pick-up will be Friday, March 12th from 10am-5pm at Perfectly Fit, 303 W Minnesota Park Rd # E, Hammond, LA 70403.
