2021 Race Update - Race Day Instructions

It’s hard to believe it has been almost a year since we cancelled our first race. Shake Your Shamrocks will happen this year! We have plans, backup plans, and backup backup plans with permits and approved courses for every scenario!

This is the final plan!
There is still ice on the Lake Country Trail. The race will be held at Menomonee Park. Plan to arrive early!

All events will start at 9:00am. 

If you registered for the 2020 race and would like to run this year, you need to claim your deferral. Please do it ASAP since we expect the race to sell out.

How to Complete Your Deferral from 2020
Your race entry has been deferred, but you need to claim your deferral if you want to run this year. Here is how to do it:
1. Go to runsignup.com.
2. Click on Profile.
3. Under the Deferrals tab, click Complete Deferral.
4. Click Start Transfer.

Chilly Willy Winter Run Series

If you were registered for the series last year, or registered for the individual race last year, and are registered for the series again this year, you do not need to claim a deferral (you’re already registered for 2021); instead, I owe you a race. Please email me at info@silvercirclesportsevents.com (don’t reply to this email) in a few weeks and I will send you a code for a race of your choice. The individual race codes must be created manually, and it takes some time.

So, what if there is ice on the trail like two years ago? We follow the PPPPPP methodology around these parts. We have permits and approved courses for Menomonee Park, too.
