Sandy Claus Full and Half Marathon 2023

Short review

Join us on Sunday, December 5th in Nocatee for the second annual Sandy Claus Full Marathon /  Half Marathon / 10K race.  Start and finish will take place in the field next to the Nocatee Splash Water Park.  The course will include the scenic Nocatee Greenway Trails, and will circle through several of the local developments within Nocatee.

To allow for social distancing at the start we will be scoring over all winners based on 'gun time' and age group winners based off 'chip time'.  We ask for elite runners going for the win to toe off first at the start line.  There is no need to stand crowded together at the start line.  All runners will receive an official 'chip time' based off the time they individually cross the start line to their finish.  The 'chip time' is used for all age group ranking.

We ask that all runners wear a face mask during packet pickup / checkin, and that you practice social distancing during the event.  Runners do not need to wear masks while racing.

The Half Marathon is presented by Runners4Recovery. Runners4Recovery is an amazing team of community members committed  to helping others. Runners4Recovery takes our convictions and turns them  into action, by bringing awareness to the community about the stigma  of individuals with substance abuse disorders. Runners4Recovery fosters healthy lifestyle choices through exercise and running.   The Runners4Recovery focus is to provide access to recovery resources and services for those in active recovery. We support individuals to embrace a healthy lifestyle through running or other healthy activities. We provide access to community agencies, and advocate for individuals to break down negative perceptions of those struggling with addiction.
