Northern Lights 5K Fun Run 2024

Short review

 Thomas Judd Care Center is hosting its seventh annual Northern Lights 5K Fun Run to raise awareness of the HIV care and prevention resources in Northern Michigan Sept. 6.  The run/walk starts at 8 p.m.

The 5K fun course starts and finishes on the Munson Medical Center campus in parking lot K. Registration includes a bright tee, swag, timing, post-race snacks and a finisher medal.  Cash prizes include $500 for top overall finisher.  Male and Female 1st $200, 2nd $150 and 3rd $100 prizes!   

Make sure to join in the fun with the Northern Lights Spirit competition!  Racers are encouraged to dress in the spirit of the Northern Lights nighttime run and let the brightness shine with the best glow-in-the-dark, creative, and/or lit-up swag! Three prizes of $50 will be given to the most enthusiastically adorned registrants.

Registration opens April 2 at 12 p.m. and closes Sunday Sept, 1 at 12 p.m.  There is no day-of registration. Course map available soon! 

NOTE: Register today. Tee shirts are limited to early registrations.  Register before they are gone.  

Packet pickup is Sept. 5 from 4-7pm. at 5041 N. Royal Drive Suite 1, Traverse City.
