The 3rd Annual Better2gether RVA Cares 5k presented by UPS is back with 4 exciting ways to participate! We are excited to offer an In-Person option held at Gayton Elementary School for runners and walkers. If your race time is important, choose the "Run/Walk" option and you will have a chip timed bib. If you'd rather leisurely walk and enjoy supporting a great cause, choose the "Walk Only" option and you will not receive a bib or be timed for your 5k. For out of town supporters or those that prefer a virtual event, you can run, walk or stroll from any location you choose and make it Your 5k Your Way. You will choose the "Virtual" Option. And our friends that aren't quite ready for a full 5k or want to support from the comfort of their home, you will choose "Sleep-In". We appreciate any way that you would like to support Better2gether!
Have fun training for the event, sharing photos on social media even just silly moments dashing from your couch to the fridge counts! It's all in the name of charity so have fun, raise some funds and share the kindness. Use #RVACares5k and #Better2getherRVA on social media so we can follow you and cheer you on!

PACKET PICKUP--- Friday, September 17 from 3:30-5:30pm in the Gayton Elementary Bus Loop (12481 Church Rd. Henrico, VA 23233).
Use the entrance to the bus loop closest to the Fire Station, on Church Rd.Please provide your name and a greeter will hand you your swag bag and Race T-shirt.Begin to pull through the loop and stop along the way to gather swag from our amazing sponsors. You will exit onto Church RoadWhy are we doing this? Support services abound in Richmond for families of children fighting well-known illnesses like cancer and diabetes, but Better2gether is the only organization providing support to families of children battling rare and complex illnesses. To learn more, go to www.better2getherRVA.org.
