Let's celebrate national ice cream day (Suday 7/19) with a virtual 5K walk/run. You can complete the distance anywhere you would like (more on that below) and earn some amazing SWAG to celebrate your accomplishment.
The $25 fee includes:
- Participation in a virtual 5K (3.1) mile run (completed between 7/19-7/26) including real-time results
- A custom designed gender specific Ladies Tank or Men's/Unisex Tee
- A beautifully designed unique finisher's medal
- A handmade token for an ice cream from Frozen Caboose ice cream shop in Highland, NY. Token is good for one small ice cream (hard or soft serve) in a cup or cone.
How does a virtual run work?
- It's simple! You complete the required distance (in this case a 5K) at some point during the date range (7/19-7/26) anywhere you would like. You can do the run on a treadmill or anywhere outdoors, we only ask that you respect the guidelines that have been set forth for social distancing and please do not run in groups. You can track the time that it takes to complete your distance using the treadmill, a GPS watch or ANY activity tracking app (examples include but are not limited to: Runkeeper, Nike Run Club, Strava, etc. etc.) and will receive an email by end of day on Wed. 7/15 with instructions on how to submit your time into the results starting on Sun 7/19.
SWAG Pick-Up/Delivery:
- We will be hosting curbside SWAG pick-up at Fleet Feet Poughkeepsie (1895 South Road, Poughkeepsie, NY 12601) starting on Saturday 7/18. SWAG shipping is also available for an additional fee of $3.50 per registrant.
You must register by Wednesday 7/8 to be able to pick up your SWAG bag starting on Saturday 7/18. All those who registered by Wed. 7/8 will receive an email with all of the pickup details by end of day on Wed. 7/15. Please ONLY reach out to us with this question if it is Thurs. 7/16 and you still haven't received the email. The email will come from info@fleetfeetpoughkeepsie.com. If you don't see the email, please check your spam folder.
All registrations from 6/12-7/8 will be ready for pickup or shipping by Sat 7/18 (email to go out on Wed. 7/15).
All registrations from 7/9-7/15 will be ready for pickup by Sat 7/25 (email to go out on Wed. 7/22).
Shirts:
The shirts are a technical blend which is 75% poly / 13% cotton / 12% rayon jersey. They are extremely soft yet moisture-wicking. The shirts run true to size, you do NOT need to size up. The Ladies tank is a racerback style with pretty deep arm holes which may show some of your bra. To keep our costs low, we order the exact number of shirts that we need and are unfortunately unable to accommodate size switches once the order is placed.
Changing Your Shirt Size (available only through 7/1):
You have the option of changing your initially selected shirt size by following these steps:

Click on "Manage Registration"
In the upper right hand corner of the screen select "Giveaway"

Click "Confirm Changes" to save
