Covid Related Race Protocols:   For the 5K and the Half Marathon there will be a staggered start procedure in place as the starting line. Chipped timing will be used so your time DOES NOT start until you cross the start line.  The starting line will be marked with rows of cones so that runners can be spaced at three foot intervals prior to the start. Approximately 70 - 80 runners will line up at a time and we will call "Ready, Set, Go" for each group. Faster runners should line up in the earlier groups while walkers and those with strollers or dogs should line up in the later groups. We will be making announcements prior to the race to direct participants as to where to lineup.  Masks are not required but participants may feel more comfortable wearing a mask while lining up for the start of the race. Although not required, masks are encouraged for in store and race day packet pickup. 

 

***WE HAVE ADDED A NO SHIRT/NO MEDAL OPTION FOR THE 5K EVENT***

We have added a no shirt/no medal option at a reduced cost for the 5K Event. Those that sign up for this reduced price event will NOT receive a shirt or finisher medal. This option is available for those who want to race in person but missed the opportunity to sign up for this event earlier. Runners will still qualify to earn age group awards.

ABOUT THE RACE:

Name: Run Your Bundts Off 13.1, 5k & Baby Bundt Run (10 and under)

Distance: 13.1 Miles, 5k, Baby Bundt Run (1k) with virtual option on all three. Published race routes are subject to change. 

Date: Sunday, April 18, 2021

Location: Cumming Fairgrounds Main Parking Lot (260 Castleberry Road, Cumming, GA 30040)

Hydration:  For the Half Marathon course, there will be water stations approximately every two miles. At Mile 4 and Mile 10 we will provide Skratch Sports Drink and Huma Energy Gels. There are no water stations on the 5K course.

SCHEDULE:

Packet Pick-up will be Friday 4/16 & Saturday 4/17 from 11 AM to 5 PM at North GA Running Co. (5485 Bethelview Road, Suite 430, Cumming, GA 30040)

Packet Pick-up Race Morning at race location starting at 7 AM

Any items not picked up after 10 days will be donated unless you contact us. 

Race Registration will be available (if not sold out) at North GA Running Co. through April 17th at 5 PM AND then on race morning at race location or online. You should allow enough time to stand in line to register by race time (registration closes 15 minutes before race start time).

13.1 start time 7:45 AM (time limit:  3 hours and 30 minutes)

5k start time: 8:30 AM

Baby Bundt Run start time 9:30 AM

Baby Bundt Runners will receive a medal, t-shirt, and a bundtini as well! *

1st, 2nd, 3rd place age group awards. 

Overall winner Male and Female will receive a full-size Bundt Cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes! 

 

*must be registered by March 31st to be guaranteed a medal

Event will be held rain or shine.

Race routes are subject to change. 

PARKING:  

Participants will need to park at the Cumming Fairgrounds and walk to the race start location via the pedestrian bridge. The race start and finish will be at the Main Parking Lot for the Cumming Fairgrounds. Additional free parking is available at the Castleberry Parking Deck which is a 7-8 minute walk to the event start/finish location. Those that are parked near the Start/Finish line will not be able to exit the parking lot until after all the runners have completed the all events.
