What is Most Special this year is our focus, The Passion Center Champions Club!

The Champions Club is our Special Needs ministry, a ministry first of its kind in the region.  In a place where even caring for the able is a challenge, those with special needs can, unfortunately, be unintentionally neglected. That is why this year is all about our Champs Club!

Mission

The Passion Center for Children is a dynamic partnership between individuals, churches, and organizations in the United States committed to making a real difference in Malawi, Africa. Commonly known as the "Warm Heart of Africa," this beautiful country staggers under the growing weight of HIV/AIDS, poverty, and disease which continues to steal the futures of so many orphans, widows, and entire communities. 

We focus on Community Transformation that is Church-based and Christ-centered.  We are convinced that God has been, is presently, and will continually be about seeking and saving those who are lost and broken.  Our desire is to join Him in rescuing, redeeming, and restoring orphans, the vulnerable, and whole communities.  In just a few short years, the Passion Center had grown into a dynamic, orphan rescuing, widow encouraging, household reclaiming, community strengthening, Church Planting, Christ-centered ministry.

Presently, the Passion Center provides food to over 330 village children and pays their Primary and Secondary school tuition and fees; cares for over 45 Child-Headed Households; operates a Community Health Network to over 150 villages; cares for more than 70 special needs children; supports over 20 Infants who have lost their mothers shortly after birth; is actively involved in youth sports outreach; enables over 30 students in attending Universities & Colleges; operates a community library and a growing Vocational Training program; as well as training over 1,000 Pastors and ministry leaders throughout the region.  Real lasting change is possible when the love and grace of God is communicated clearly and in tangible ways.
