Short review

The 2nd annual Original Run for the Donuts is back and we are socially distancing the start line, pre-bagging donuts and moving it to June 18, 2021. 

Some people run for the roses, some for their health, we like to run with something sweet on our mind. That's why we dreamed up this little short and sweet race, with a donut stop where the water stop should be (well, okay, it's Florida, we will have water, too!).We will start and end at Keiser University Parking Lot at Tradition in Port St. Lucie, and you can be sure this will be a family-friendly, delicious treat of a race, timed by the one and only Mike Melton of MCM Timing and brought to you a team led by Race Director Sue-Ellen Sanders and to benefit early education and student scholarships.

It's only two miles, so you can walk or run the distance and you will get the chance to eat DIXIE CREAM donuts at the rest stop, then finish the race and burn off those yummy sugar calories! For every donut you consume (up to 2) you will get 20 seconds off your final time, so this may be a real test of your donut-eating skills, as well as your fancy footwork. The race is limited to the first 350 entries though, so sign up early and enjoy early-bird discounts on a racing event, you DO-NUT want to miss! Earlybird rate: $25, until December 31, 2020, then $30 until raceday. Youth rate for the Run for the Donuts only $20 for youth age 17 and under ONLY! Want to "save your donuts" for the end of the race? Just ask for the "save your donuts" wrist band at packet pickup and you can turn it in after the race for a to-go bag with 2 donuts, Of course, you don't get to take any time off your finish time that way!

First 350 registered guaranteed race tee-shirt and finisher medal. Tee-shirt sizes S-XL are sizes available for at no additional fee. We love every size runner and will be glad to order XXL and XXXL tee-shirts for those who'd prefer a larger size, but we have to pass along the additional fees our tee company charges and those shirts need to be pre-ordered, by May 21, 2021. Add $5 for XXL and $6 for XXXL.
