Run At The Rock 2023

Short review

2020 has been a tough and crazy year for all! We didn't even know if we would be able to have the 2020 Run at the Rock, and have had to make changes to do so. First, we have to limit the size of folks congregating and do our best to keep everyone socially distanced. So, the race will be run in waves of 25 every 15 minutes starting at 8:00 AM. With COVID regulations, we simply cannot serve hot soup as in the past. We will have individually packaged snacks and bottled water at the finish.

THERE WILL BE NO TENT. This is very sad to us, but it would encourage congregating. With a much smaller race and uncertainty on pricing and availability, we have decided to do very nice long sleeve hooded T-Shirt vs a sweatshirt hoodie.

This has got to be one of our favorite races. Great course through Cedar Rock Park earn a finishers' reward and some great swag! Run the race, get the long sleeve hooded T-shirt, and your custom 2020 soup bowl!  You must register at least 2 weeks before the race to guarantee a long sleeve hooded T-Shirt.

Cedar Rock Park is close enough to Chapel Hill, Raleigh, Greensboro, Winston, and Charlotte to draw some of the best trail runners in the state.

This is a great race for beginner trail runners too, as we offer a 7-mile distance or give our 14-mile distance a try!  Our staff makes sure that ALL racers have a great experience.

There will be a reward for running two out of three of our trail races in 2020 (Owl's Roost Rumble & Triple Lakes are the other two) SWAG is TBD, we'll keep you posted!
