Virtual Rock Cut/EP News Beer Bound 5K 2020

Short review

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, we have decided to change the dynamic of the Beer Bound from a traditional in-person 5K to a virtual race format! If you are unfamiliar, virtual races involve each participant running/walking their own 5K course on race day (Saturday, March 28) anywhere in the world, then sending in "evidence" that 3.1 miles were completed. A virtual race is a great way to enjoy the outdoors while still practicing social distancing.

Here are the details:
-If you have signed up to participate in the Beer Bound 5K, you are already signed up for the virtual version! If you are not signed up yet but want to participate, registration is still open at  https://runsignup.com/Race/CO/EstesPark/RockCutBeerBound5K
-On March 28, run/walk 3.1 miles anywhere of your choosing! If you can, track it on your Garmin or phone fitness app. You can also snap a few quick pics while you are on the course!
-Once you complete your 5k, send your documentation to events@rockcutbrewing.com. (Screenshot your phone's tracker, include a pic or two of the course, or write us a nice synopsis with details of how your run went that day.) Please send your email, including your swag request (fanny pack, neck gaiter, or pom beanie) by April 4.
-Once your email is received, you are eligible to pick up your race packet with your race swag, free beer coupon for Rock Cut (good once we are able to pour pints again!), and other goodies!  Packet Pick-Up will be at Rock Cut Brewing 1pm-7pm everyday from March 28 through April 11. If you are unable to pick-up your packet physically with in that time, please email events@rockcutbrewing.com and we can make arrangements to send via mail.
-As a side note, if this isn't your jam, you do have the option to request a refund and not participate. Please email us at events@rockcutbrewing.com; refunds will be released within 5 business days.
