2021 Virtual Race Information
Due to COVID-19, Thurston County Coalition Against Trafficking (TCCAT) has decided to host our annual 5k Race Against Trafficking virtually April 24-May 8. This decision is made for the love of our local community members and in accordance with local regulations and recommendations from public health officials. Our dedication to fund human trafficking prevention education locally remains important during this time because human trafficking reports are on the rise during the pandemic.
This year our goal is to raise $25,000 to support human trafficking prevention education in Thurston County. The virtual race for five weeks giving you ample time to complete the race at your convenience. Hosting this event virtually means that ANYONE from ANYWHERE can participate! Normally with an in-person 5K participation is limited to the proximity of the race. The benefit is that people who normally would not be able to attend can help participate to help prevent human trafficking!
