Join the Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier for the Virtual King Cake Classic, a Mardi Gras-themed run that is perfect for the whole family. The fun includes great swag (race shirt, custom medal, beads and more!) with an interactive Facebook experience, all to raise money for the League's Community Projects that serve at-risk families in Northwest Louisiana. The virtual run kicks off on Saturday, February 6, and concludes on Mardi Gras (Tuesday, February 16). Grab your friends and family from across the States and from around the world to join you in the inaugural Virtual King Cake Classic!

What is a virtual race?
A virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. If you're an out of towner, your race packet that includes a bib, shirt and finisher medal will be mailed directly to you. If you're a local participant, you'll be able to pick up your race packet from Run Wild. 

Choose your distance and start moving! It's a great way to be competitive with your family, friends or coworkers while not traveling to a race. Run on your own or run with a physically-distanced group. Each person signs up, picks a time to run and posts their finish time online. It's a great way to motivate each other and to hold each other accountable.

Walk, run or jog, indoors on a track or treadmill or outside in the neighborhood or a park, a virtual race is the best way to get comfortable moving to your own beat and gaining confidence in your strength and endurance! Let the good times roll!!

Virtual King Cake Classic February 6-16, 2021 + Virtual Shamrock Shuffle March 1-6, 2021. Participants who register and finish both races will receive a commemorative pint glass at the conclusion of both races.
