Whitewater Community Fundraising Partners is excited to offer an
IN-PERSON 10K Run, 5K Run/Walk, & a 1 mile fun run for youth.
Saturday June 12, 2021 - Starin Park, Whitewater

If you are not quite ready for an in person event, you can choose the virtual option.

Shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis on the day of the run.

Race day registration will be available from 7:15am-7:45am

  This is a fundraising event to help homeless youth in the Whitewater School District.  We are working directly with the Whitewater School District.  In April 2019, both the Janesville Gazette and the Daily Jefferson Union stating that 'Whitewater School District has over 60 homeless students.'  This is a staggering 3% of the total student population.  Since COVID hit, the numbers have gone up even higher and our families are in need of help.  

 

NEW THIS YEAR:  ALL  PARTICIPANTS WILL BE ENTERED TO WIN A FREE REGISTRATION TO THE DISCOVER WHITEWATER SERIES 1/2 MARATHON OR  5K.  PLUS, WE HAVE SPONSORS WHO HAVE DONATED FOOD COUPONS, WINE/CHOCOLATE TASTING, TICKETS TO LOCAL ATTRACTIONS AND MORE.     Here is a summary of our guidelines:
1.  With our course being on a paved trail, runners will be assigned start times, beginning at 8am.

2.  The event will be capped at 200 racers.
  3.  Runners should arrive 20 minutes within their start time. 

4.  Pickup your race bag (shirt/if applicable, bib, & pins will be in your bag)

5   Be at the starting line 6 minutes before your scheduled start time.
  6.  Runners will start every 15 seconds, 2 racers on the line.  There will be markings for the "bullpen" racers.

7. Park bathrooms are available on race day.

8.  Bottled water will be  available at the finish. There are 2 water stations  along the run route.

9.  Results will be posted on-line by 2pm and awards will be mailed.  Awards will be by 10 year brackets (U19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for both men and women)

10. Start times and bullpen announcements will be made regularly.
