Information:

Southern Colorado Runners is happy to announce The 43rd Pueblo Chieftain Spring Run Off in "Virtual Challenge Style" to "E-RACE HUNGER."  For everyone's safety, due to COVID-19 the “normal” in person 43rd Spring Run Off Event venue has been changed to a "Virtual" event.

The Pueblo Chieftain and the Southern Colorado Runners welcome you to the 43nd Annual Pueblo Chieftain Spring Runoff. Join us for the 2021 edition of Pueblo’s oldest and largest running event. Since 1978 Pueblo Chieftain—Southern Colorado’s leading newspaper, has supported and sponsored this yearly springtime race.

We are offering 3 virtual-race-challenges that mirror the same distances we have had prior years: the 5K, 10K, and 10 mile run.   You decide day and time of your race between March 13, 2021 and March 28, 2021.  Upon completion, upload your distance, time, and photos for congratulation on your finish. (See instructions for Virtual Challenge Results and Photo upload below.)

You can use your favorite courses or create a new one. There are course maps available in Run Sign Up of the original race courses that you can use, however that is totally up to you. Also encouraged, is that you encourage others to do the virtue challenge with you.

Don't Miss out! REGISTER NOW Saturday, March 13, 2021 through March 28, 2021, for Pueblo’s Premier running event "gone virtual" to "E-RACE HUNGER."  Let's together give back to the communities of  Southern Colorado through Care and Share for Southern Colorado.  100% of your registration fee will go to this organization.

The free kids race Funner to be a Runner will be a virtual option for PE teachers or parents to still promote running in our youth. We will not have the school competition but we would love for PE teachers or families to upload photos or email them on the Funner to be a Runner page.

Visit our Facebook page for updated information.
