Course info:
2020 offered a redesigned course. The original course was mostly fire roads throughout the park. Although beautiful, we always intended more of a trail event. With the building of some new hiking trails and a redesign of the course we feel we have a great course waiting for you. We have also tweaked a few miles from 2020 to even improve on the re-design.
The new course is a 2 loop course for the Marathon yet 1 loop for each of the 10k and 1/2 marathon adding more trail miles. This will give you more picturesque views and a better trail race experience! These new trails are very runnable with good footing most of the way. This also allows us to offer better service at aid stations!
On-course aid:
Aid stations will be approximately 3, 6, 9, 13, 16,19 and 22 miles.
Bathrooms:
There will be indoor bathrooms available at the start/finish.
Relays:
Relays will run loops approximately 6.5 miles each. This year all relay legs will begin and end at the Start/Finish area and race with the solo marathoners. Runner 1 and 3 will run loop A (Beaver Lake Loop) and runner 2 and 4 will run loop B (Findley Station, Coop and Trooper Loop)
