Pirate’s Weekend in Sylvan Beach is back, and it's even bigger and better after a year off.
The 2021 Sylvan Beach Pirate’s Weekend is Thursday, July 15 – Sunday, July 18. It's an exciting weekend for people of all ages and features a ton of activities, including the popular Pirate’s Boat Parade on Saturday.
The Pirate Rum Runner 5K returns for Pirates Weekend in Sylvan Beach, NY on Sunday July 18th starting at 8 AM.
This year we have T-shirts donated by Land Shark (one size fits all) to the first 150 registered.
Packet pickup will be at the start line, at the Sylvan Beach Bath House (Sunset Ave) from 6:30-7:45 on Sunday, July 18. The race will finish at where 16th Street intersects with 15th Street, next to Captain John's.
Prizes are:
$200 for 1st place male and female$100 for 2nd place male and female$50 for 3rd place male and femaleThe race cost is $20.
We would also like to thank the Sylvan Beach American Legion Post 1153, Captain John's Restaurant, Eddies and Harpoon Eddies, HAM radio operators of Madison and Oneida County, emergency personnel and many volunteers.
