Paper Chase 5K 2024

Short review

The Paper Chase 5K is an annual fundraiser for Free 2 Teach. The race raises funds for Free 2 Teach, a non-profit in Madison County, Alabama that supports public school students and school teachers by giving away supplies and resources for FREE. The race brings together teachers, administrators, students and community members all with the aim of supporting education in our county. Come out and join us on February 27, 2021 in downtown Huntsville. We are excited to come together as a community and support teachers and students! The school with the most runners (family, supporters, staff, friends etc) will win $1,500 for their school library and/or technology needs!

The course winds through beautiful downtown Huntsville and is a partial loop certified with USATF (code: AL18003JE). Runners of all levels are invited as are walkers. This is a great way to run with your family and friends in a casual and fun environment. Due to insurance restrictions, strollers are not permitted on the course. 

Packet Pick-Up will be at Fleet Feet Sports on Friday, February 26, 2021 from 10am-7pm. Fleet Feet Sports is located 2722 Carl T Jones Dr SE, Huntsville AL, 35801

** This race will be an in-person event with a virtual option. ALL PARTICIPANTS regardless of chosen option will receive a T-Shirt (unless we run out: register early!!) Should we need to go fully virtual due to health concerns or updated state guidelines, we will alert you. The race fee will go toward your in-person and/or virtual registration and all funds are non-refundable. Thank you! **
