Neogen 5K Run/Walk 2020

Short review

The 4th annual Neogen 5K Run/Walk kicks off at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2020.

The race loops through Lansing’s downtown and friendly Eastside neighborhood — it’s a great opportunity for everyone from the serious runner, to the family pushing a stroller. The race begins and ends in Oak Park, right in front of Neogen’s Miller Building. Chip timing is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation, and scores are posted online on the official Playmaker’s page for local race results. Medals are awarded to top finishers, and all participants receive a Neogen 5K t-shirt.

Like in years past, proceeds benefit Sparrow Hospital’s Herbert-Herman Cancer Center, which opened July 2017. The center provides state-of-the-art treatment options to patients from across Mid-Michigan. In the past two years, the Neogen 5K has raised over $40,000 for the center.

Parking for this event is available on Neogen premises: 728 E. Shiawassee St., Lansing, MI 48912. Neogen is a Lansing-based food and animal safety company that employs over 500 people in the area.

AWARDS to the Overall Male & Female and Top 3 in each age division per gender: AGE DIVISIONS 12 and under, 13–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70+

Register by May 11th to be guaranteed a t-shirt. T-shirts available as supplies last after that date.

PACKET PICKUP: Friday, May 29th from noon to 4:00 in Neogen’s Miller Building: 610 Lesher Place, Lansing OR available on race day at packet pick-up table.
