Do you need some assistance in training for a 5K or 10K?  Are you new to running? The Medved 5K & 10K Training Group can help. Whether you have never completed a 5K or 10K, or you are looking to improve your times, our training program can help you accomplish your goals. There will be two group workouts each week and we will provide you with a weekly training plan. All group workouts will be conducted with a fun/supportive atmosphere. 

Our training programs are tailored to your individual needs with personal coaching and encouragement.

In addition to training there will be discussions on proper running shoe fit, dressing for various weather conditions, nutritional needs, goal setting, strength training, stretching, race preparation, recovery, and more!

The group will meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm and Saturday mornings at 8:00 am. We will meet at various locations in the Rochester area.  We know that running is just one aspect of your very busy life and we do not expect that you will be able to attend every session! Weekly training plans will be provided for you.

The training program begins on July 7, 2021.  The focus of this program will be the Old Forge Marathon Weekend September 9-11, 2021.  The event hosts a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, Full Marathon and more!

All Medved Endurance Project (MEP) members receive a 25% discount on this training group along with 10% off race registration and additional custom swag!  Please check out all the MEP has to offer!
