MAW's Cause "Moving For Mason" Virtual 5K Run/Walk 2020

Short review

Join us on October 25th for the 4th Annual Moving For Mason 5K to help the fight against SIDS and SUDC!  Due to COVID-19 cases on the rise, we have moved our 5K to a virtual race.  What does that mean:

1) Register for the 5K as usual by 10/1

2)  Receive your shirt, decal and bib in the mail before the race

3) Run or walk a 5K in the location of your choice on October 25th

4) Post your picture at the completion of the race on our facebook page

Registration pricing is $25, which includes a race shirt and decal. 

MAW’s Cause was founded in 2017 in Knoxville, TN by Brittanie and Ben Weaver.  After the death of their 4 month old son, Mason Archer Weaver, to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), The Weaver’s made it their life mission to help prevent other parents from facing this life-changing tragedy. In 2018, MAW’s Cause became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against SIDS and SUDC by building community awareness, educating parents/caregivers and supporting leading research efforts.  Over 4000 infants age newborn to one year old die each year from SIDS, with 7-12 in Knox County alone.   MAW’s Cause strives to intersect new parents in the community with our newborn Halo Sleep Sack program at local hospitals, as well as raise money for continued research.
