ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO THE RACE STARTING LINE, AND THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION OFF THE RACE COURSE IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO MAKE IT TO THE FINISH LINE... this event is in the middle of nowhere, Badlands USA... there is no UBER or LYFT or taxis.  We highly recommend bringing friends and/or family to be your SUPPORT AND GEAR (SAG) CREW. It is the safest and funnest way to eXperience the race.

THE MDH100 IS DESIGNED TO BE EPICALLY CHALLENGING AND IMPOSSIBLY FUN... IT IS ALSO MEANT TO BE A FUNDRAISER FOR THE SAVE THE MAAH DAAH HEY NON-PROFIT ORGANIZTION.  A BIG PORTION OF YOUR REGISTRATION FEE GOES RIGHT BACK INTO KEEPING THE PHYSICAL CONDITION OF THE WORLD-FAMOUS MDH TRAIL FINDABLE, USEABLE AND MORE ENJOYABLE FOR YOU, AND ALL TRAIL USERS.  THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR TRAIL WORK EFFORTS.  YOU CAN FIND MORE INFO AND SHOP OUR STORE AT WWW.SAVETHEMDH.COM

NO REFUNDS... no matter what!  The Badlands Race Series is unable to provide any reimbursements for any any reason, any and all requests will be denied.  HOWEVER, racers may purchase event insurance from RunSignUp. 

Transfers and category (distance) changes can be made yourself by editing your own account, as long as registration is still open and there is availability in the category you desire (fees apply per transfer and/or change).  

In case of emergencies, we reserve the right to change the race or course or terminate the the event early if circumstances arise that are life-threatening to our participants and/or our volunteers. 

Rain Day on Race Day, PLAN B:  If it rains and the racecourse is too wet to ride without causing damage the trail, the race start will be delayed in one hour increments.  If the racecourse is not dry enough to ride by noon, an optional, alternate racecourse, on a different section of trail and/or the gravel roads, will be provided.  Racers may participate at their own discretion.  No refunds, no bad attitudes will be entertained or tolerated.  It is what it is... an adventure.

*All times are listed in MOUNTAIN DAYLIGHT TIME!  Most of the course is in the MDT zone, however, we are right on the edge of the Central Daylight Time Zone so your phones & GPS units may jump back and forth.  Please plan accordingly.  We recommend setting your devices on permanent MDT zone to avoid any confusion.  If you’re not already confused enough, Watford City operates on CDT zone, but for simplicity: ALL RACE TIMES ARE LISTED IN MDT!!!

FRIDAY

PACKET PICKUP:  All racers must check in at Packet Pickup the night before the race.  We offer two locations for your convenience: Watford City works best for the MDH100 & MDH75 participants, and Medora is the most convenient for MDH50, MDH25 & MDH13 participants.  You must go to the location that you specified at online registration.  If you need to switch locations or arrange an emergency race morning Packet Pickup please contact us 48 hours in advance at nick@experienceLAND.org

4pm-7pm                 Medora Only - Pre Race Pasta Dinner at Town Square Showhall – pasta | music | drinks | social

Enjoy a good pre-race meal and some time with friends at packet pickup!
Build Your Own Pasta Buffet – Penne Pasta, Alfredo Sauce, Sliced Chicken Breast, Red Spaghetti meat sauce, Field Greens Salad with assorted dressings.  

*DROP BAGS: for $5 per bag you can utilize our drop bag service.  You may send your own pre-packed bag to each of our three major Aid Stations.  Bags may not be bigger than an average sized plastic grocery bag, they must be well sealed with a zipper, draw string, duct tape, zip tie, etc… Small backpacks, small duffle bags, Ziploc bags, or other durable plastic bags all work well.  All drop bags must be clearly labeled with your name, racer number, and the Aid Station you want it sent to.  Bags may contain your food, sports drink mix, spare tubes, spare parts, socks, CO2, tools, etc.  Please keep your bags as light as possible, 20 lbs or less, anything over will not be accepted.  It helps to NOT pack items that are already offered at the Aid Stations like water, fruit, etc.  At the Aid Stations your drop bags will be laid out in numerical order according to the race plate numbers.  ALL DROP BAGS MUST BE APPROVED AND PLACED IN THE PROPER CONTAINER AT THE PACKET PICKUP LOCATIONS BEFORE 9PM ON FRIDAY NIGHT.  No late bags will be accepted. We will have lots of drop bags to deliver to our Aid Stations, please respect and obey our guidelines.  All drop bags will be returned to the finish line for your retrieval, AFTER each Aid Station closes and the bags can be driven back by our volunteers.  We are not responsible for any lost or stolen items or drop bags.
