Located at the intersection of M-59 and M-53 along the banks of the Clinton River lies historic Utica MI. Founded in 1817 by Irish immigrants Utica is one of Michigan's oldest cities. This historic city is the gateway between Macomb and Oakland Counties.
Runners will experience the historic charm of starting and finishing in the heart of the city. As runners traverse the USATF Certified Course they will pass the new Jimmy John's Field home to Minor League Baseball, the historic St. Lawrence Church and cross 3 bridges. The World Famous Graffiti Tunnel takes runners under the 10 lanes of bustling M-59 and makes for the perfect place to give a "shout out" to fellow runners.
Entry fee includes:
-Chronotrack B-Tag timing - 5k participants only
-Short sleeve technical running shirt
-Medals for all participants
-Age group awards for top 3 finishers - 5k participants only
- Awards for First Place Male/Female Overall, Masters and Grand Masters winners.
-DJ, Bagpiper, announcer and finish line snacks.
