2021 L.O.S.T. 118 ( Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail )
The 15th Annual Running of this Iconic Event ( And It's ONLY One Loop! )
Saturday February 27th, 2021 to Sunday February 28th, 2021 ( a FULL Moon Weekend )
( The deadline to get your correct size shirt is this Sunday Night the 31st, as we have to place the order on Monday the 1st! After that we'll try to guess your shirt size, but we're not really good at guessing your shirt size! )
The course is run around the lake and is mostly on the dike which is a mixture of dual track, macadam, and crushed stone surfaces. A various amount of miles are on road to avoid the current construction sites ( # miles varies each year ). There are 22 access points to the dike for crew to meet you. The race is always run as close to a full moon weekend as possible and, if it is a clear night, you will not need a light up on the dike for much of it. Very scenic, both day and night, with a constant breeze to enjoy.
For 2021 the 118 race will start in the Clewiston - South Bay area, see the link to the Start /Finish maps below.
The 50 mile race will start in Clewiston and head East towards South Bay, finishing in Okeechobee, see the map below!
Individual runners MUST have a crew, no unsupported uncrewed individual runners! This applies to both the 118 & 50 mile events
A Relay Team is a min of 2 people! The $118 fee is for a relay team of 2 people, any additional members added will pay $39.00 each! To add a team member have them register and select the " Join a Team" option, select your team and finish the registration process and pay the $39.00 fee at the end! If you need to change a team member you can transfer a registration to another person and they are responsible for the money aspect! Email gscottmaxwell@yahoo.com to transfer!
You must be registered by February 1st 2021 to be guaranteed your shirt size and swag bag! After that we will try to guess your shirt size, but we're not really good at guessing.
Additional shirts ( for your crew ) may be ordered in the store, and will be in your swag bag at packet pick-up
