25th Anniversary Race! COVID-19 DISCLAIMER

This race is tentatively scheduled for the advertised date. We have approval and are moving forward with this event. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Safety is our number one priority. We will make our events safe by enforcing social distancing and mask wearing(when not actively competing) based on federal, local, and USAT guidelines and regulations. As the guidelines continue to update and as Race Day nears, we will post more specific guidelines to follow in accordance to the current mandates. We appreciate your cooperation in the matter and look forward to a lot more racing in 2021. Please stay home if you are feeling sick and please wash hands whenever you can.

PACKET PICKUP / REGISTRATION CHANGES

This year we are going digital. We are not having paper applications nor are we accepting cash. Everyone must sign up online. Online Registration closes when the race starts.

The 2021 Bambino Adventure Race has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 virus. All pre-registered Bambino entrants will be receiving a refund in the near future.

The race will take place on Saturday, May 22, 2021 - 8:00 a.m. sharp.

All events start and finish at Harry Bowen Memorial Park.

RACE SERIES 2021

This event is part of the DQ Events Grand Prix and DQ Events Club Challenge.
You are scored for an overall placement, an age group placement, and for finishing the event. At the end of the series there will be prizes for free entries into 2022 and more!
To be scored in the Grand Prix all you have to do is place in the Overall, Age Group, or finish the race!
To be scored in the Club Challenge you need to select your club during registration and then place in Overall, Age Group, or finish the race!

ITINERARY Friday May 21

6:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Packet Pickup and Registration online only if available at Harry Bowen Memorial Park

Saturday May 22

6:00 am - 7:30 am - Check-in, Packet Pickup, and Race-Day Registration online only if available (prices increased) 
7:30 am - Pre-race briefing at Transition Area, after the briefing we will require ALL SWIMMERS to cross over the Swim timing mat before we can start the race
8:00 am - Adult Races start (waves based on # of entrants)

DISTANCES

The water is calm and clean with very little current. The bike ride is out and back on quiet traffic controlled country roads. The course is fast and flat with several rolling hills and some newly paved roads. The run is through historic Port Republic on traffic-controlled roads.
