And while safely is our top priority, you can still join IRIS for an interactive Run for Refugees Kick off party, Super Bowl Sunday, Feb 7th. Celebrate our mission to welcome refugees & immigrants from all over the world with VIP speakers, a special performance and IRIS refugee ambassadors.
Your registration and fundraising for our annual 5k provides refugees and immigrants with vital services such as housing, healthcare, job placement, education, and much more.
In 2020, IRIS helped 120 refugees and immigrants find work, provided $200,000 in rental assistance, taught students English, art, and music, virtually and fed 300+ families per week with essential groceries from our food pantry.
Long Sleeve Shirts to the First 500! The first 500 registrations comes with our iconic Run for Refugees T-shirt. We want to see you rock your Run for Refugees gear across Connecticut and the country! Tag us in your photos and videos and we’ll feature you on social media. All participants will receive a Run for Refugees race bib.
EARN COMPLIMENTARY ENTRY! Donate or fundraise $200 or more for IRIS and receive complimentary race entry! Your donation and fundraising efforts help IRIS provide a variety of services and support to refugees.
