AdventHealth Howey-in-the-Hills 5K, 10K & Half Marathon presented by LiveTrends Design Group 2025

Short review

Come run or walk through this beautiful town, situated on picturesque Little Lake Harris.  You can watch the sunrise as you run along the shore of the lake, by the Howey Mansion, and around the town's quaint, rural countryside. The half marathon will also take participants through Mission Inn resort and residential streets of Las Colinas, as the course loops among the streets of this central Florida hidden gem.  All races will take place on Saturday February 15th, 2025 in the town of Howey-in-the-Hills only 5 miles from the Florida Turnpike! Participants will take home one of a kind custom medal and swag, check out our 2025 series connector and start your challenge. All participant get a Flodash custom long sleeve shirt and half marathoners take home an additional race swag, a custom Boco Howey Hat! 

This is a road course, please refer to the course maps below. We ask that participants  be able to maintain a pace of at least 18 minute per mile. Roads will be reopening to normal traffic based on an 18 min pace.

What do I get with my Entry? All participants will receive a chip timed bib, a race shirt, a finisher's medal and a post race snack and beverage. All runners and walkers on the course MUST BE REGISTERED.  Anyone running without a bib is subjecting themselves to a misdemeanor and putting the race in jeopardy.  If you want to pace a child, spouse or friend, you MUST register as well. Packet Pick-up
Friday 14th 2:00 - 6:00 PM at Dash Sports 741 W Montrose St Clermont, FL 34711
Saturday 15th 5:45 AM - 7:30 AM  at the race venue (Half marathoners must pick up by 6:45am)
There will not be on site registration, you must register on your own device while registration is open until race morning. Will close at 6:30 for half marathon, 6:45 for 5k & 10k. We cannot accommodate last minute requests so if you do not have a registration confirmation please do not ask for a bib.

Virtual Packets:   Packets will automatically be shipped within two weeks after the race and will either have a paper bib or digital one via email. We cannot ship outside the US. Feel free to post a picture of yourself completing the race and tag us @flodashevents #flodashrunner #virtualrace

RACE DAY PARKING
Go to Griffin Middle School / Lake County Resource Center @ 510 S Palm Avenue, Howey-in-the-Hills
It is best if you come down State Road 19 & turn right on Lakeview. Most other roads coming from Lakeshore or Revels will be barricaded. It's a very easy venue, however we are expecting over 500 participants and spectators. Please plan on picking up your packet ahead of time and arriving by 6:15 am and waiting in your car until your race starts.

Howey in the Hills races will have participants line up based on pace allowing those faster runners to line up at the front and letting anyone needing more room to distance to line up in the back.

Strollers and Dogs on the course: If you must have a stroller we just ask that you please line up at the back of the slowest corral. Dogs are not allowed on course or near the start/ finish line. For service dogs please contact the race director. 

Awards: The amazing awards provided by Live Trends Design Group will start at 8:45 AM with the 5K  followed by the 10K awards, and then the Half Marathon.  5k & 10k Age Groups will be broken down every 10 yrs  starting with 9 and under, up to 70 and over. The Half Marathon will be every 5yrs  starting with 19 and under, up to 75 and over. Awards will be given for each race to the top 3 Male and Female overall, First Male and Female Masters, and top 3 Male and Female .  Results can be checked online at the end of the event.  Awards must be picked up during the ceremony and will not be help post race. 🏆 Living Art Continues: The awards from LiveTrends Design Group aren't just any awards; they are living art pieces that add a whole new layer of sophistication to our recognition moments. Team/ Family Discount!! Bring the whole gang and take advantage of our family pricing when 4 or more members  register under the same Team / Family name. Teams of 4 or more will receive $5 off each participant. Upon creating the team, the first 3 registrants will pay full price, once the team minimum of 4 members has been reached, the previous 3 registrations will receive an automatic $5 refund. All registrations to the same team after that will already reflect the  discount.
