COVID Adjustments: I wanted to put this up front so everyone will see it.
This race will happen unless the state or local governments shut down all events. If this happens, I will give a credit to everyone registered but there will not be a virtual race. If it happens after shirts are ordered, I will give everyone the option to have a credit minus the shirt cost if you want it (I think everyone will like the design we are almost done with!).
Masks will be required in the start/finish area as long as you are around other people. We will take your temperature when you pick up your packet with a non-contact IR thermometer. Please respect these requirements so we can continue to have events.
The Hog Wild 5K & 10K Trail Run is a premiere trail run hosted in the beautiful Texas countryside near Bremond. Join us for a fun, family oriented race that will have a little something for everyone. The event directly supports the Lone Star Running Project.
We will be doing a distanced wave start based on projected paces. At this point we are planning on sending a wave every 30 seconds but it is subject to change as guidelines change.
Registrants will receive T-shirts and a finisher award. We are planning to have prepackaged foods available post race unless regulations change again.
Awards: (Men's and Women's for each category) Top 3 awards will be removed from age groups
Top 3, 0-18, 19-30 then every 10 years
Course:
The course is a wide and very runnable 5k loop with some technical terrain. There will be 1 water stop on the course and one at the Start/Finish making it 1 for the 5k and 3 for the 10k.
Camping:
Camp sites are available for those of you who would like to camp. Just let us know. Port-o-Potties will be available for campers.
Packet Pickup: Will only be in Bremond at the G6 ranch this year

Saturday - 6:30am-8am
